The boards are messed up at the moment but here's my response. Er, Barb, yes, it was Primm Road in 1953. <g> Primm was an early settlers. James Primm was definitely here in 1824 and he was established by then. James Primm was the first Clerk of the Logan County Court and a friend of that guy we hear so much about, A. Lincoln. He was the first postmaster of Postville. Etc. etc. A word search of 1911 Stringer history turns up many references to James Primm. The road was probably named after him.
