The Sangamon County Genealogical Society will be assisting patrons of the Sangamon Valley Collection of Springfield's Lincoln Library in their genealogical research beginning at 7:00pm on Monday, August 9 in lieu of our monthly meeting. Come join us in a hunt of this treasure chest of Sangamon resources. Learn about the various projects that the Sangamon County Genealogical Society has underway this year and join in on the fun of researching a specialized library collection. Everyone is always welcome to attend our meetings. We are also open on Wednesday nights at the society office. Materials will be available explaining the resources at our office library and board members will be on hand to help in your research at the Sangamon Valley Collection.
