Lou, Is your Minerva J. Beck, b. 1 Nov 1863, Harristown, Macon Co, IL, d. 27 May 1946, married to Henry J. Treft, on 8 Jul 1881, Macon Co? Henry is the brother of my great-grandmother, Louise Martha Treft Oliver. Their parents are John Treft and Margaret Leikem, both of Germany. John d. 22 Dec 1862, Mt. Pulaski, Logan, IL. Margaret remarried in 1870 to Joseph Thomas, she d. 8 Apr 1889, Springfield, IL. John Trefts/Treft and Margaret T. Leikem had 11 children. You can read Louise Oliver obit with her husband, son John and daughter-in-law, Maude on the Logan County website. Henry and Minerva moved to Iowa, and was living there when Louise died in 1922. Louise is buried in Old Union cemetery, Lincoln, and Henry is buried in Pleasant Hill cemetery, Dunlap, Iowa. I have 10 children listed for Minerva Beck and Henry Treft. Richard Beck in 1880, Niantic, Macon, IL, states he and his parents are born in KY. However, all the files I found on him say he was born in OH. ??? If this is your Minerva J. Beck, please contact.
