Hi all, Had to share a wonderful experience I had today. As I drove back from my first ever visit to Springfield I decided to take a chance and see if I could find Old Union Cemetery in Lincoln. I guessed correctly and found it. When I located the office I met the most helpful young men around. I knew that many of my relatives were buried there but the genealogy books don't list them. I knew one date so we went to the actual burial record and found many of the others in a family plot. These guys actually escorted me to the area where my relatives were buried. We went back to the office and found others and went walking again. If only others could be so helpful. These folks gave me answers that have escaped me for years. They didn't even think I was crazy.
