Oh definitely. In my family, prior to my generation, we didn't kiss our cousins, aunts, etc. They were incredibly reserved and, I confess, I am somewhat reluctant to have someone outside the very immediate family kiss me. Hugs are ok. <g> My husband's family was very kissy. <g> I have tons of first cousin marriages and more second cousin marriages. For my cousins who married locally I can prove they are related to their spouses. <g> To be fair, in 1840 you had to marry what was available. Cheryl
