I apparently didn't make myself clear: The "Eve" to whom the Bibles (those of Joseph Pence and Conway Pence) was Eve Pence, a granddaughter of Conway. They were given her by Joseph Lucas, son of George M. P. Lucas (who married Conway Pence's sister Elizabeth Pence). Joseph, son of George M. P. Lucas, was a first cousin to the father of Eve Pence.
