The last time I did a count of the Illinois State Genealogical Cemetery location database, there were over 14,000 entries which include aliases. I have some more changes to make but haven't had the time. One of these days I will retire and can catch up on all this stuff. The link below shows on 6116. When I send the GPS information on a cemetery not shown to the USGS site, they will add it. Originally the goverment maps showed no cemeteries unless they were bigger then 50' squared. That leaves a lot of them out.
