Troy, I think the Bloomington-Normal Genealogical Society changed its name to the McLean County Genealogical Society some years ago, and is located on the square in downtown Bloomington (the old court house.) I think the Library lending still uses a Normal P.O. Box number. Bill Detmers

Yes, I actually work a block from the museum. I've used the Stevenson-Ives library a couple of times, but my ancestors were all Logan Co. so it wasn't too useful for me. But if you ever need to do research for McLean Co. they have a lot of local history resources, as does the Bloomington Public Libarary.
