Maybe they think bigfoot.com is a spam mailer? Having had bigfoot addresses I know it is not. I'll check into that. The phone number was provided to me by the Cemetery District. It is a private number. The person has no involvement with genealogy, just a cemetery contact. I'll check into it. However, the contact for any cemetery will not necessarily know who is buried there or how to locate a specific grave. In some cases they are merely the person who can open the gate. A couple suggestions. First, a person on this list might own the cemetery book which includes Holy Cross and would be so kind as to look your ancestor up for you. Newspapers might be useful. A list of the newspapers with dates at the Lincoln Library can be found at http://www.rootsweb.com/~illogan/newspapers.htm You can also ask for research from the Logan County Genealogical & Historical Society. http://www.rootsweb.com/~illcghs/ Cheryl: I sometimes have an E-mail bounce when friends have taken a vacation, and their E-mail cache or "spooler" has filled up. Also, it has happened when too many E-mails have gone to the address in a short time. JOHN WILHAM
