Hi List, Maryann and Robert were married in Logan County, and they are on the 1860 census together. He died during the Civil War, and is buried in TN. Apparently they had a child named Edward, for he appears in the 1870 census with his grandfather. MaryAnn was not on that census, and I never found another trace of them. MaryAnn is NOT on the marriage index, so it is doubtful that she remarried, and I know she did die before the 1886 History of Logan. There are some Applegitts at Downing, but they are Robert's first family. Can anyone find Edward and MaryAnn on a cemetery transcription? Thanks for any assistance you can give.
