August 20th meeting will feature the local talent of Tim Carlton. He is remodeling a building in the historical Sangamon St. area to be a living quarters. 115 S. Sangamon, The formerly Avers Sewing and Repair shop, will become a live-in loft. Bob Johnson, another local talent, will speak on historical buildings in Lincoln, Il and what makes them out standing. September 17th meeting with feature our inventory at the Center. "Is it really AN antique or is it junk". John & Nancy Glick will be our speakers. October 15th meeting with feature John Durdle on his trip to Germany for researching family members. November 19th Annual Dinner meeting at Elizabeth's Tea Room on S. Sangamon at 6 pm. New officers will be elected and Bob Church will have a power point program on surveying in Logan county during the early years. December 17th Tentatively Paul Wright will have a program on cemetery tombstone repair. Deceased 2007 members honored, things and projects accomplished during the past year at L.C.G.H.S.
