    1. Re: [ILLOGAN] Cream Ridge Cemetery in Logan county?
    2. I guess I should have mentioned the name of the one room school was Cream Ridge. In fact, I thought I had until I re-read my response in Richard's mail. Ah yes - the pleasures of speculating and second guessing things from the past. I think the person giving the information may have known the name of the school (Cream Ridge) but not the name of the cemetery (Green Hill), thus stating it was across from Cream Ridge School. Bill

    3. That's no doubt the explanation Bill. Richard is correct about death certificates. I sometimes wonder why we think of them as good sources. I have a relative who knows everything and thinks he is in charge of the world. Mr Perfect provided the death certificate information for my grandparents. Needless to say, there are errors. All the information on birth and death certificates is provided by humans in trauma. Mom just gave birth and now they are bugging her for information. A loved one has died and now they are bugging you for information. I don't find it surprising that information is wrong. The person writing it down may hear something you didn't say, be a poor speller, have terrible handwriting. My husband's death certificate has a wrong secondary cause of death. The doctor had four death certificates she was filling out, got interrupted, laid them down, came back and wrote the wrong thing down. It's wrong for posterity.
