Absalom Foreman was born in Kentucky the son of David Foreman and Elizabeth Horine and married his first wife Sarah Springer 28 Feb 1833 in Highland Co, Ohio. When the family moved to Illinois, about 1850, they lived in Pike Co. But I was recently told that Absalom Foreman may have died in Logan Co., ILL. Can anyone confirm?? Children of Absalom and Sarah Foreman, all born in Ohio were: John (1836), Michael (1837), George (1839), Nathan (1841), Elizabeth (1845), and Mahala (1848). By 1850 the family was in Pike Co IL. Thank you, Kathleen Rizer

For all of you in general, and particularly for those whose families passed through Logan County rather than staying very long, it would be good to post a query on the query page if you have not already done so. There are a couple of good reasons. One is query pages are just the place folks look. An even better one is the names on the query page are indexed in a massive search engine so that a person typing in a name, say Perfect, Ronald, in, say Polk County, TN, will have access to queries posted for that name in MANY counties and states -- a good way to catch the travelling family.
