County. By Stinger. There is a lot of information in that book about the Copelands, Birks and Scoggins and many others Settlers. There is an Article about Sarah and David Birks son. Read the article about the Deep freeze and the awful snow storm. I do not know of a connection of Lydia Myers to Jacob Myers family. This publication includes the names of those who were chosen as potential jurors in cases involving both the Pettit and Grand Jury in Sangamon County, Illinois from the March term of court in 1849 through the October term of court in 1860. Many of these men knew or worked with Abraham Lincoln during his legal career.
