In the 1880 census, there is a heading at the top of the first page that has all of the inmates that says reform school and in the column that describes the relationship of the person it says prisoner. Those people who were teachers or support personell are listed as such. My hope is that there are records which would then help me find court records and possibly newspaper articles about this person.
