You have answered a multitude of questions here. John B sponsered my Dad in coming from Germany in 1924. John's visa application for Dad states he had no dependants and yet I knew he had a son. Now I know he was living with his adult son. He lived very close to where I live now. He also listed himself as Dad's uncle but that name doesn't show up anywhere in my family tree so I'm just beginning a search to see if that is true. Dad was in Streator for awhile in the late 20's when he still worked for John so my next step might be to check out their City Directories. Thank you so much for your help.
