I have been advised by my local Family History Center to request the "long form" of the marriage record of my great-grandparents Ignatius HECKMAN and Maggie O'MALLEY who were married in Fairbury, IL in 1873. I have a copy of the certificate from the Livingston County Courthouse in Pontiac. What I now need is more detail to continue my research on how Ignatius came to America. I have census info that he was born in France as were his parents. I am hoping to find out at least his parents' names.
