Leone Hemken was owner of land in Pike twp. in 1976 according to a plat book published by "Rockford Map Publishers", Inc. for the Bicentenial. My grandfathers brother, (John Heibult) lived and owned land in Nebraska twp.,Livingston Co. My ggrandfather Klass Heibult in Wustenei Ostfriesland,Germ. had two brothers that married Hemken sisters, Meena Gerdes Hemken, and Frauke Gerdes Hemken. We have an "Ostfriesland Genealogical Soc" at George. Ia, and a member from Witchita, KS by the name of Raymond Hemken is interested in the Hemken family history, too. fh
