And in the small world category - I went to the Streator Library this morning to look up some old obit's and who do I meet but Joan Johnson of our list. She too had mining relatives and was able to enlighten me some on the days of old. I found my long lost Jacob Carmean of Livingston who died way down in St. Clair County. Seems the poor old chap was still mining and met his death by walking in front of a moving train. I'm most anxious to understand more about the mining industry in Livingston so when I learn enough I'll post it to the list for future researchers! Thanks!!!!!
