Susan, If you mean Esmen Township, it's the next township north of Pontiac Township, or about three miles from the city of Pontiac. The only community in the township is Rowe. Rowe probably has a population of about 50. Bill

hi, According to the 1875 Livingston County Map of Livingston available on line at USGenWeb Livingston County site 1/2 of the then city of Cayuga was in the southeast corner of Esmen Township. The town of Babcock was to the west of Cayuga, well within the boundaries of Esmen Township.
