    1. [ILLIVING] Hasbargen
    2. Today someone wanted to know if anyone out here has Hasbargen in their family. I have a second cousin who married a William Hasbargen. He and his wife had ten children on a large farm around Breckenridge MN. He died in 1996. I do not have anything on his family but they could have been in IL before moving to MN. There is another William Hasbargen who was born in 1894 and died in Breckenridge, MN in 1968 who could be the grandfather. Maxine

    1. [ILLIVING] Newsletters, Etc.
    2. Searching through some old notes I found the following: Waverly Genealogical & Historical Society, "NMB Illinois, d 1856" Issue 9, October 1980 and Jacksonville IL Genealogy Journal, "NMB, Kentucky, Illinois" Vol. 8, Issue 4, Dec 1980 I'm sure this is related to my Illinois research and as far as I can determine, I never found these issues. I failed (Shame, shame) to write a surname on the note. Does anybody know where I could find them and request copies? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Pat Darby Sanchez @ rsan987272@aol.com

    1. [ILLIVING] Question about resources
    2. My grandparents were married in Livingston County in 1888 and their first 9 children were born there. They lived near Flanagan. I would love to find church records of the baptisms. They were German speaking [from Ostfriesland] and Lutheran. My great-grandparents are in the St. Petrie [Windtown] cemetary so that might have been the family church. Does anyone know if there are any such records? Another question. What school might have been in that area? Gretchen Kohl [Alameda,CA] - GKohlFamly@aol.com

    1. [ILLIVING] Re: Bud Woolford website
    2. I clicked on your website and it came up blank except for a nice patterned background. I would very much like to see what you have available for cemetery listings in Livingston County. I have just returned from a three week trip down to Illinois to do genealogy and I discovered that I had several ancestors down in Livingston Co. back in the 1800's. They were THOMPSONS. Would be glad to hear from others researching THOMPSONS in Livingston Co. John Belfield N11898 Co. Rd. 3. Greetings from Streator, I would suggest that you contact the Streatorland Historical Society. There address is: 306 South Vermillion Street, Streator, IL 61364 Please include the approximate year the Keller's might have been in Streator. Also do you know what church/religion they belonged to? Although we are a historical society we do have city directories from the turn of the century, and cemetery index. We are open Monday-Friday 9:30-2:30, and Sunday, 1:00-4:00. Please contact them, so they would have time to look up the information, and to confirm the hours. We are not online, nor do we have an answering machine, so your best bet to contact them is the US Postal Service. The La Salle County Genealogy Guild in Ottawa has "tons" of information. They are open a couple of days per week, but if you contact them ahead of time, I am sure they can make arrangements for you to visit. Note regarding "Streator residents" and the filing of birth certificates: my cousin was born in La Salle county, the doctor's office was in La Salle county, but her birth certificate was filed in Livingston county.
