Good Morning. I have information that might be of interest to you. In my family there was an Alex WALLACE who married a Mary Ann CORRIGAN Carr (widow of a Civil War soldier). They lived in LaSalle Co. Alex was from Troy Grove, Mary Ann from Ophir--neighboring townships. They had a daughter Julia A. WALLACE born in Sept., possibly 1868. After 1880 they settled in Vernon Co., MO. I don't know what became of Julia, but TOWNER was a name from that same area in LaSalle Co.
