Lucky you if you have Patrick Briscoe for an ancestor. In the 1860 Dayton Twp, LaSalle County census he was 48 and his wife Sarah was 30. The value of his real estate was $4,000 and personal was $350.00. (my ancestor was $50.00). Of course he was from Ireland. The children were: James, Francis, John, Mary, Rose and Daniel. I was hoping my ancestor worked on his farm.
