Thank-you for the information. It came in handy. My ancestors were of Norwegian decendency and immigrated to the United States sometime around the middle 1800's. Some ancestors settled in parts of Illinois particularly in LaSalle Co., IL. Would appreciate any information on this family line. Such as births, marriages, and deaths. If possible trying to come with family lines. Lars TJELLE, changed to CHALLY once coming to America is my Ggggrandfather. Variations of the CHALLY name have various spellings to it such as CHELLY, CHALLEY, CHALLY and such. Thanks once again for the information you sent me.
