MCSCHOOLER, LEVI: I found My great great grandfather's brother Levi McSchooler in Streator, LaSalle Co in the 1900 census living with a family of renters. Levi was born in Dec 1830 in Madison Co, NY. I found him again in 1850 in Kenosha Co, Wi living with my ggg grandparents and then a record he (and his father and his sister) purchased land in Fond du Lac Co, Wi in 1858. After that I have not located him (or his father) in any census or any other record until he shows up in LaSalle in 1900 with no family (per other family records he was married and had children). I am interested in him mainly as I want to track my ggg grandfather's movements after 1858 in Fond du Lac (ggg grandmother died in 1855 and is buried in Fond du Lac Co). Can any one help me with this elusive ancestor? Thank you.
