LIST: Is Nashville the county seat of LaSalle County or is Ottawa? Because I was told by the Chicago Archives to contact the La Salle County, Ottawa, for the First Papers -Intention to naturalize. Should I contact Nashville for the papers? I am having alot of troubles finding them. My gggrandfather, Stephen Pfeifer's final papers were issued from Ottawa but they do not have the First Papers.
