Hi Mary, I probably sound like a broken record regarding the Guild but from my experience I have received alot of data at low cost from them. Always remember there is only one person who does all the research though and it can take some time to receive whatever you are looking for. I have ordered death cert. from the courthouse and they were $7.00 certified. As far as cemetery records, again the guild has many computerized and when I was there in May they even gave me a map of the cemetery so I would know where to look. They can even give you grave locations in many instances. Recently I wanted a copy of some conseratorship papers of the 1950's and wrote to the courthouse. My response was $40.00. I felt that very high and if the guild has it they will copy it for a small charge plus shipping and I would save alot. The guild is only open on Saturdays and Mondays but the Courthouse is open on weekdays, there is also two court houses for different records. It is always best to call for hours. There is also the Historical Society in Utica, that may be of help also. This is just my experience, I hope that it can help others. Sharon
