My LaSalle Co. surnames include: BELDEN: Alexander Jackson Belden & his family came from NY in the mid-1850's, believe they settled in Ross Grove area where a number of their children were born. WALTER: AJ Belden's daughter Emily Elizabeth married Thomas Walter in 1866 in Adams Twp. CHAMBERS: AJ's daughter Ellen married Gus Chambers in IL, possibly La Salle Co., in 1864. LIGHTFOOT: Nancy Belden, another daughter of AJ, married James William LIghtfoot in 1869, not sure if in LaSalle Co., or if in KS.
