Hi Folks, I just remembered something that happened to me when I first began my search for my family. My half-sister told me that our grandfather had taken her in 1940 to Ottawa Ave Cemetery to see the graves of his wife and parents. She asked if any of the other graves with the same surname were related as there were more than 50 graves close by and he said, "No". As it turns out many years later they were all from the same family, in fact the widow of many children brought them to Dayton Twp. and they in fact were all descendants. Even though some changed the spelling a little. Something to think about when we are researching. Sharon
