Lois, That would be Robert and Catherine Trompeter DOREI In Peru from about 1863-1871 Married in ? about 1862 In the 1870 census as Robert DORAE in Peru Children Henry, Mary, Leonard baptised in St. Joseph's church, Peru Their daughter Anna DOREI married Casper FOUTH (son of Philip and Philippine FOUTH in Peru, 1885. Robert's brother Frederick DOREI (spelled DOORI in newspaper article) died in Peru 18 May 1867. Was supposedly buried in Peru, but haven't found a burial record for him. He enlisted in the 104th IL inf in 1862. Not known if he was married. Robert's wife Catherine TROMPETER was the daughter of Henry TROMPETER, and sister of Joseph, Moritz, Frank, Roland, John Peter, and William TROMPETER. She was the half sister of Peter, Johann and Gerhard TROMPETER. Many of these children lived in or near Peru from 1852-1900. Many of Henry's children went to Kansas around 1870. Gerhard stayed in Peru. Roland died in Germany. Don't know about Moritz. Linda
