Sharon, Thanks for the info. I took a drive to Ottawa today (7-7), visited the LaSalle Co. Genealogy Guild twice between 11:30 am and 1:00 pm. Unfortunately it was closed. Additional travels around town (including Peru and LaSalle) to Court Houses, the cemetery, and a couple of libraries were fruitless. Well, not completely. I did buy some bananas at Econo Foods. I will write an old fashioned letter to the Guild. If anything comes up please let me know. Mary and her man, Michael Dooley, are a real evasive search. I DO know this. They were living in Peru in 1862 when their son was born. Michael moved to Canton some time after she died in 1900. He died in 1902. Again thanks. John Dooley
