Hi John, I looked in the i892 Plat Map Book for La Salle and found a Martin Dooley, in Brookfield Twp Section 31. I am not sure exactly what you are looking for but Martin may be a relative. I think I would contact the La Salle Gen Guild and ask if they have any death records, orbits or probate on this family. They have most of these records onsight and at a very nominal fee. Far cheaper than the court house. That is where I have gotten my records most of the time. They have an index to orbits, probate and cemeteries. I have also been successful if I can find land that they have owned to get copies of land transfers or look at film of Grantor-Grantee deeds by the LDS Family History Center. It has helped me follow families, siblings thru cousins. Wills also name alot of family members and where they have moved to. Hope this helps, if you have any other questions, feel free to ask. Sharon
