Gary, Yes, Daniel RADCLIFF had sons and daughters and even some grandchildren ! Briefly, I have a Daniel Radcliff b. ca. 1785 in VA who married Rachael MCMANIS b. Feb. 5, 1799 in Ky, Aug. 29, 1819. They lived in Clinton Co., probably in or near Wilmington, but sometime before 1848 they removed to Bureau Co., Princeton, IL. The 1850 Census, Roll # 99, p. 252, Household 345 shows: Daniel Radcliff, 65, M, Farmer, $5000, b. VA Rachael, 51, F, b. OH Mary, 24, F, b. OH Sarah, 24, F, b. OH Charles R., M, 20, Laborer, b. NY (This probably is not a son) They also had a son, George M. Radcliff b. ca. 1828 in OH. George married Minerva CORWIN May 13, 1863 in Lasalle Co., Cedar Point, IL. They had three sons, Frank Radcliff b. ca. 1860, Harry Radcliff b. ca. 1864 and Charles Radcliff b. ca. 1866. I have a transcribed letter written in 1848 from Elizabeth McManis Magee Hibben to her son William Magee in Bureau Co., Princeton, IL in which she mentions 'Brother and Sister Radcliff'. Rachael McManis Radcliff was Elizabeth's sister. Elizabeth McManis Magee Hibben was the widow of Dr. Magee and her second husband was William Hibben b. 1790 of Wilmington, OH. William's daughter by a previous marriage to Elizabeth SPRINGER was Rebecca Jane Hibben who married Franklin A. Corwin. George Radcliff married their daughter, Minerva. The Corwins, Magees and Radcliffs all removed to IL where they lived only about 15 miles apart, though in two counties, Bureau and Lasalle. I am not descended from this line of Hibbens.
