Trying to verify the residence of my ggrandmother, Susanna McLaughlin. Her parents were John and Margaret. I believe they were in LaSalle Co. in 1880. Does anyone have a census index to check this? Also, did IL have a state census in 1885?Thanks Lori Prouty
