Thank you for replying about my Studebaker inquiry. It has been easy to track down the sons of Arthur Chamberlin, my gg grandfather, but difficult to find information about the daughters after they married. Sarah Chamberlin (dau. of Arthur and Eliza Horn Chamberlin from Tonica) married a ------Studebaker. Sarah b. Nov 9, 1838 died Mar. 15, 1887. In "The Tonica News" I found the following Studebaker information - don't know if it is from my Chamberlin - Studebaker family. Blanche Studebaker married a Mercer Richey. (date of marriage?) In "The Tonica News", 12/20/96 issue, it states that a Jerry Studebaker of Farm Ridge had died at age eighty on Dec. 19, 1916. Icy Studebaker of Lowell married Will Gregory Feb. 18, 1896. Three year old daughter of Reuben Studebaker of Deer Park, died Dec 21, 1917 - diphtheria. Recently I spoke to someone by phone who is related to the Studebakers and he told me of a Studebaker cemetery and thinks Sarah Chamberlin Studebaker may be buried there.
