Hi Looking for the family of GMELICH who lived in Lasalle Co Marcelles ILL. Jacob & Barbara GMELICH were listed with Gotleib FRITZ in the 1860 census in LaSalle Co. Wilhelmina FRITZ Gotleib's dau mar John GMELICH 1858, LaSalle Co. Also looking for the family of Gotlieb GESSMEIN who mar Christinna FRITZ 1858 who was the widow of Gotleib FRITZ. Not sure if this is the true spelling. Seems there may be a z or y. GERZMEIN was listed on the marraige license. May have changed to the S's. Saw spelling in census differently. Have marriage licenses of both Wilhelmina & Christinna. Wilhelmina was dau of Christinna. The other name I am researching in the area is KNOX.
