Sometime after 1850 Peter LOCKE and wife Mary Magdalene (Polly) (HOUSE) marr. 1836 in Preble Co., Ohio moved to LaSalle Co. ILL. Peter was a blacksmith, died 1888. Mary d. Sep 1898. Ch. John, Noah, Sarah, Amanda, Nancy Jane. Also William LOCKE 1823-1895 with w. Susannah BLACK may have moved to LaSalle Co. with them. It is know that when the LOCKES moved several members of the REDMAN family went with them including Andrew John REDMAN and wife Sarah BUNGER and a William REDMAN.
