Hi Listers; I am new to this list, so I don't know what is available out there. I am looking for any info on my gggrandmother and/or her family, who lived in LaSalle, LaSalle, and Batavia, Kane, IL in early 1800's. Best guess for dates would be 1830-1850. Sarah Ann PURDY b. 31 Dec/Jan 1828 Logansport, Cass, IN d. 13 Feb 1902 Wethersfield, Henry, IL m. 11 Oct 1847 Kane Cty, IL Charles Lewis CLARK(E) b. 10 Sep 1819 Truxton, Cortland, NY d. 21 Jun 1896 Sheffield, Bureau, IL. Sarah's obit states that she moved to Illinois with her parents when she was a small child, living in Batavia and LaSalle. Her death certificate did not reveal anything about her parents.
