Hi everyone, I have just joined the list and am researching my partners family and as you will see haven't got very far in this particular branch! Roswell Talmadge PETTIT is my partners grandfather, and all I know of him is that he was a radiologist in Ottawa. His father ran a sanatorium in the same town. He was married to Dorothy Lord BLATCHFORD and had 2 daughters. If any one has any information they can share on the PETTIT family I would be interested in hearing. Roswell would probably have been born c1890. I have found an ancestral file for Dorothy but with no mention of the PETTIT's. I did find a ROSWELL - TALMADGE marriage in the mid 1800's but no link to Roswell himself. I have been in touch with the Lasalle Genealogy Guild but as yet have not had a reply. Are they on email?
