Need assistance in finding documentation of my great grandfather's birth. His name was Samuel Boyd Clark and he was born in Ottawa, La Salle County on Nov. 14, 1862. The county clerk said their are no birth records for that date. Does anyone know of any birth documentation available for La Salle County covering that date?
