    3. Wow, you mention of Mrs Glenn Tombaugh, her name was Gertrude and she was my 4-H leader for years when I lived out there not to far with the Holmes' and I might add she was a wonderful leader, very capable woman. Heenanville school was a one room county (Mackey) school until the coal miners arrived. Then a second room was added on, so it became a two- room "one room rural school" And Esther and my Dad were in the same room. In fact, she gave the museum the only photo I had seen of my Dad at that age. When did Esther pass on, my Dad died in 1986. I can't find my Biography in Black, but my copy of the Memoir's of Heenanville are on my bookself next to my computer. The short article about the Tombaugh family was written by Mrs. Glenn Tombaugh.
