I have an autograph book given to my grandfather, David C. Greenwood from his teacher Lenora A. Owens, dated Hinckley--March 15, 1878, but within the book on a page she has written an extensive note with her name and date the identical as on the first page except she has Kaneville, Ill. Could anyone direct me to where I might find his school records? I will be in the general area (Rock Island County) for a wedding on Sept. 13. I do live in Chico, Calif. Thanks, Betty Porter

Betty, My brother lives outside of Chicago and not too far from Kaneville. It's roughly 50 miles west of Chicago.
