Their daughter Mary Susan Oliver born in Lasalle County, Illinois March 27, 1847. Her husband Silas Washington Bardwell born Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania May 11, 1843. Enlisted in the 26th Illinois Infantry in 1861. His father Silas Bardwell born in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania 1807. Silas the elder died in Ottawa, Lasalle County, Illinois 1863. Silas the elder was married to Bethsheba Maha Ball daughter of Amos Ball of Vermont and Mercy Gershom. Silas Washington Bardwell brothers and sisters were: Nancy Lovina, Daniel A., Aaron G., Nelson H., Irene L. (believed to be Lovina)., Lydia Lovina., Catherine A., Marcellus Z., Charkes M., Nelson., all born in Tunhannock, Pennsylvania between 1830 to 1854.
