Thank you Joanie for posting children of Henry & Caroline Riss. I am still trying to find out if there is a connection to my family. Sophia Riss(do not know her maiden name or who she married) was born 1819 in Germany & came to US in 1882. She was living with her daughter(my great grandmother) Eliza D. Gernentz (Riss) 1900 census. She died May 1903 & is buried in Allen cemetery in Ransom, Illinois. I have the death certificate for Sophia Riss-no info...
