    3. Hi Amy, I'm just going through my e-mail for the past month and found your post about La Salle biographies. Would there be an Ellis White listed? He married Desire Kuney. Ellis was my gr-grandfather. His daughter, my grandmother, came to the SW with her husband (Edward Everett Becker) when he contracted TB. Only her oldest sister, Edie, came to visit, I know that she had about 7 siblings, and little more. Her mother was Desire Kuney, and there's a lot of information on the Kuney family, but it's really Sadie that I want to know about. She was actually sort of a surrogate mother to me and I'm not sure what or where I'd be now without her. Anyway, if you have any information on Ellis's parentage, or anything, I'd love to know. Thanks, Nance ([email protected]) -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] <[email protected]> To: [email protected] <[email protected]> Date: Monday, March 17, 2003 10:09 PM Subject: [ILLASALLE] Biographies from History of La Salle County Book >I found the following bio for my ancestor Allen McDonell in a book The >History of La Salle County, Illinois: together with scetches of its cities, >villages and towns, educational, religious, civil, military, and political >history, portraits of prominent persons and biographies... published in 1886, >which I accessed on-line through my (Oregon State) library. > >If you think your ancestor might be listed here, let me know and I will look >it up (This is a very slow process on my computer so please be patient).
