Sorry, I don't have a William or Frances (Straton) Ewing. I did find the following: Buried in Cumberland Cemetery (west of Wenona) Esther Ewing, 1823 - August 21, 1877, aged 53 yrs., 10 mos, 22 das. Buried in Riverview in Streator is the Alexander J. Ewing family Alex was born May 31, 1838 in Ohio and he died in 1889. He ran a grocery store in Streator. There was an obituary in the Streator paper for his father who died Sept 1879 in Ohio, shortly after visiting Streator. Also an obituary for Mrs. W. H. Ewing of Grand Ridge who died abt December 24, 1881. (wrong place, wrong time) Hugh Stratton aged 29, was buried September 20, 1899 in Long Point Cemetery. He was a previous resident of Long Point. Parents M. L. and E. V. (Miller) Stratton. The paper in Henry might have more information, like Streator, they covered a wide area.
