    2. Jan: All of the DANNEWITZ' buried at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Sandwich, IL are my husband's ancestors; we need to chat because I have lots to share. While I have a great deal about most of the DANNEWITZ clan, I am shy on Harry and Lillian; this is what I have: Harry Friederich Heinrich DANNEWITZ b abt 1889 d abt 1969; m Lillian JOHNSON (no further info); their children include: Jeanette Pauline b abt 1914; Doris Lillian b abt 1916; Vera Lucilia b abt 1918; Aileen Alice b abt 1919; Joyce Ione b abt 1921; Evelyn Ruth b abt 1925; and Armand Harry b abt 1931 (FINALLY A BOY!). Harry's parents were Edward Heinrich Friederich b 4/15/1867 in Somonauk Twp. (DeKalb Cty), IL, d abt 1936; m Paulina Henrietta (Polly) ROMPF b abt 1865 in Drittdorf (Hessen Nassau), Germany (I may have these town names incorrect), d abt 1946. Edward's parents were: Philipp Peter b 12/16/1843 in Hessen-Nassau (Prussia), Germany, d 1/28/1924 at the home of his daughter, Rose L. E. Bale, Hinckley, IL; m Henrietta (Harriet) SOLDOW b 4/20/1842 in Mecklenburg, Germany, d 6/22/1912. Edward's parents were: Johann Peter b 12/29/1817 in Village of Mottau (Duchy of Hessen-Nassau) (Prussia), Germany, d 4/11/1889 in Northville Twp. (LaSalle Cty), IL; m E. Katherina MEDELBACH b abt 1822 in Germany d 9/26/1856 in Northville Twp. Johann Peter's parents were: Konrad b ? d ?; m Elizabeth Margarethe RUPP.
