I am looking for any information or resources on the McDonell and Brennan lines. Allen McDonell was my ggg-grandfather. He lived in Osage Township from 1864 until his death in 1876. He has a brief bio in the "History of LaSalle County, Illinois" published in 1886 in Chicago. According to the book, he "improved a valuable farm", Osage Township, near Wenona, sections 10, 11, and 23. He married Mary Taylor, they had 6 children Donald, Duncan, Sarah, Ronald (sp?), John, and Agnes. Ronald married Mary Brennan in Illinois. They had children, Allen Jr, Austin (sp?), Irvin, and Bessie. Allen and Austin (b. 1885) were born in Illinois. The other children were likely born in Antelope County, Nebraska.
