Hi Dean - Addie Magee's name caught my attention in your recent posting. Adeline C. Magee b. abt 1845 was the granddaughter of Elizabeth McManis (Magee) Hibben. After the death of her first husband, Dr. James Washington Magee, Elizabeth married William Hibben of Wilmington, Clinton County, OH, so that is why I know a bit about the Magee family. Addie's father was William Bostwick Magee and her mother was Mary Jane Harris. They moved to Bureau County, IL (adjacent to La Salle County) in the 1840s along with several other families from Clinton County, OH. One of these families were the Corwins. Franklin A. Corwin had married William Hibben's daughter, Rebecca Jane. All of their vital statistics can be found on Rootsweb.com's WorldConnect database. Just search on Adeline C. Magee and then proceed to click on her parents and grandparents. Let me know if you have problems. During my research I found transcripts of several letters written by Elizabeth McManis (Magee) Hibben to her son and daughter in law (William and Mary Magee) when they were living in Bureau County. The dated letters cover the period 1845 to 1853. They were found in the Hibben and McManis family folders at the Clinton County Historical Society. Some of the letters had been numbered. Many of the numbers were missing, so they may have been misfiled. Three of the letters refer to young Adeline. If you are interested in the letters and the Magee side of your family, I would be pleased to share all I have with you. Unfortunately, I have no information about James F. Cunningham, but am please to be able to add his name as the husband of Addie Magee! Please share his vital statistics and those of his children. I suggest that you reply directly in future correspondence. I replied to the List just to add the Hibben connection. George
