I am looking for the date of birth/death of August Brandes (born about November 1856). His first wife was Dena Langenheim and she died in 1888 and was buried in Phillips Cemetery, Livingston County, Illinois. Their daughter, Emma Brandes (1884-1969) married Frank Benckendorf (born about 1885). No one in this family shows up in the 1930 census. Frank and Emma had two known children, Donald (born about 1914) and Dorothy (born about 1918). Emma was buried in Long Point Cemetery, Long Point, Illinois in 1969. Could someone check the cemetery books at the Streator library to see if there are any birth/death dates on August Brandes and Frank Benckendorf? Thank you so much. Carol - Phoenix
